Can't Save Settings and Loops

Using mlrv latest with monomeserial 0.18 and Max Runtime 5.08.
I can recall saved settings. When I save it creates the 2 files xxxx.mlr and xxxx.mlr.flist. However, when I reload either of these files, nothing gets loaded into mlrv.
