Volume up/down bug

Reported by Kina Smith | January 23rd, 2009 @ 10:50 AM

In 128 mode, when the group volumes are turned either all the way up to the maximum, or all the way down to the maximum they gets 'stuck' there. I'm using the 5.05 runtime. Additionally, when one group becomes stuck at the max or min volume, the other group volumes become erratic and tend to gravitate towards the top or bottom when changed using the modifier buttons 0,14 and 0,15.

    • State changed from “new” to “hold”

i'm afraid i cannot reproduce this bug.

could you please post more detailed information about how to make it reproduce reliably?

or is it something that only happens occasionally?

While trying to replicate this bug I came across the thing that might have been masquerading as the problem. If you release the modifier button before you release the group button it continues to act. Hold down 0 14, press and hold 0 0 to decrement the fader for group one, now release the modifier, 0 14, and then release 0 0. The fader should continue to fall and then become stuck at the bottom. The same happens for incrementing the faders.
