Insert panel not displaying selected inserts

This concerns the inserts tab:
When I click '2', i expected the insert I'd selected from the second dropdown to be displayed. But instead, the LPF interface is always shown.
Likewise, whenever I click '1', I see the same panel (wit the text "this insert is empty...") regardless of which insert i've selected in the first dropdown.
The manual doesn't indicate that inserts are a work in progress, so it seems like this isn't working correctly.
Using max 5.0.0.

this should be fixed in the newest version [18.9.9]
