Tempo sync to Rewire master problem OSX

I can get audio into Ableton Live 7.0.12 and Logic 8.0.2 via Rewire, but I can't get sync to work at all (Max 5.0.5, OSX 10.5.5). The global transport in Max doesn't switch to rewire. After fumbling around a little, I noticed that when I put a watchpoint on "clocksource $1" going into the transport and toggle the "internal" and "rewire" button from main GUI, it seems to send "1" and "0" instead of "clocksource internal"/"clocksource rewire".

Ah. I was able to get this fixed in my case by switching the output of the textbutton in global.maxpat going into "s clocksource" to the middle output so that it sends the correct message instead of 0/1. This is from mlrv.1a.
Love the patch btw.
