Group 6 produces static sounds

When assigning a sample to group 6, if I play it back it is a pure static sound no matter what sample I play.
The same sample will play fine when put in different groups on the same track.
On a mac OSX 10.5.8
MLRV 26.9.9
Ableton 7.0.16
I have attached my Max window error log
