    hey man... in ableton you can just drop a file... select what portion you want to play copy & paste.....then move the selection boundaries over..... super easy....

    heyhey! thanks! mlrV is running at about 30% i believe....... (its not in front of me right now....) ill keep in step witht he forums to look for optimized vers...

    yesyes exactly....! but actually.... ive been really messing w/ ableton & the monome in MIDI mode..... and all of this is possible that way..... i even got mlr ...

    how tough would it be .... to have different slice modes..... as in ....

    1....play on hold.... 2....play on tap.....

    as in permitting release on the slices.... ...
